History
Home Court has been developed on the site of a former tobacco and confectionery warehouse and is located on in one of Reading city centre’s most sensitive conservation areas.
Having spent two years in the planning process and a further one year to complete the building Home Court was officially opened by the Mayor of Councillor (??) Jeanette Skeats in May 2004.
This strengthed the link Shirwell Ltd (the owners of Home Court) already had with Reading, as the great grandfather of the current Shirwell MD, William Henry Bale, was also Mayor of Reading in 1936.
